Aurora Foundation Background Aurora Foundation is a not for profit organization founded to facilitate our desire to be "agents of positive change" for the good of the people of Liberia. Based on the belief that Liberia is a country rich in natural resources and human talent but poor in economic and technical capacity we are committed to the idea that economic empowerment is critical if Liberians are to recover from the devastation of war, social and political unrest and the decimation of most of the existing infrastructure. While Liberia possesses tremendous God-given natural resources, Liberia needs to build its technical capacity and national self-esteem based on a solid foundation of self-discipline, integrity, self-reliance, confidence and patriotism.
