Aurora Foundation.
PhilosophyAt the center of all of Aurora Foundation beliefs, is the philosophy that the only way anyone finds lasting happiness is through service to others. It is in pointing others to the light that we ourselves become enlightened. Motto "As instruments of each others' salvation, we lift ourselves out of darkness into light." Objective The objective of Aurora Foundation is to find and apply resources that will facilitate economic empowerment of Liberians. The Foundation seeks to engage and encourage donors and investors who will not merely give handouts or take away assets; but who will help Liberians to become stronger, more self-reliant, disciplined and productive. Aurora Foundation has begun and plans to continue to support orphanages, build schools and clinics, provide scholarships, support technical skills and literacy programs, establish micro-credit schemes, promote agricultural projects, promote arts and cultural programs which can be powerful agents of change, promote a positive image of Liberia in the mass media and form partnerships with others in and out of Liberia who are sensitive to our plight as well as our potential.
